The Adaptation of the BIO farm object
Kurczová, Silvia ; Vystrčil, Jan (referee) ; Šuhajda, Karel (advisor)
My final thesis elaborates on the project documentation of a renovated building, which was before a farm. The building is situated in the cadastral territory of the country Velké Kunětice and will have two above-grounds after the renovation. One section of the building will be topped with an extensive green roof, and the other will be equipped with a gable roof. The building will have a cuboid shape and will serve multiple purposes, including a residential flat for the owner, office space, a repair shop, and an agricultural warehouse. The original construction system is wall structural, which will be saved and filled with new load-bearing structures. The original structure of the ceiling over the first above-ground is made of ceramics board HURDIS, which is supported by steel beams. The new ceiling over the repair shop will be monolithic reinforced concrete. The building is insulated with an ETICS contact insulation system. Vertical structures consist of original autoclaved aerated concrete and ceramics blocks and new structures of sand-lime and aerated concrete blocks. The foundations of the building are made of foundation strips.
Shooting range
Holko, Marek ; Papranec, Michal (referee) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The subject of this project is a new building of a shooting range in Brno, district Královo pole. The aim of the thesis is to create a documentation for realization of a shooting range building with capacity of 5 shooting boxes, gun and ammunition shop and functionally interconnected administrative and training rooms. The shooting range operates all-day and is situated on a flat terrain. Building is based on a plain concrete strip foundation and has two floors without the basement. The building is made of brick from ceramic blocks from the POROTHERM system, while perimeter walls are thermally insulated. The building has a single-layer flat roof.
Apartment building
Marcibányi, Slavomír ; Kozubíková, Ivana (referee) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with design of a new apartment building with nearly zero energy comsuption in the city of Trnava. Apartment building have 4 above ground floors, in which there are 14 housing units, the building has a basement. Whole building is connected by an elevator and two-arm staircase. In 1.S there is wellness zone with sauna for inhabitants, technical premises, engine room for ventilation system, carriage house, common room, cellars and room for a cleaning lady. On 1.NP floor besides storage room for the gardener there are housing units. On 2.NP and 4.NP there are housing units. In front of the building there are 16 designed parking spaces, of which 2 are for immobile. Building is based on foundation strips. The supporting system is wall-mounted. The ceiling and roof construction are formed by monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling. The Building is covered by a flat single-skin vegetation roof. Thermal insulation is solved by peripheral ceramic blocks POROTHERM filled with mineral wool.
Kindergarten
Hess, Samuel ; Jelínek, Petr (referee) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the design of an NZEB kindergarten in Třebíč. The building is single-storey with a flat roof. Next to the building there are 15 parking spaces, 3 of them are for electric car charging. The centre of the building consists of staff facilities and spaces for building services, the rest of the building includes sanitary facilities for children, changing rooms and classrooms. The building is based on a foundation slab that rests on a layer of foam glass granulate. The external masonry is made of ceramic blocks insulated with EPS ETICS. The internal load-bearing and partition masonry is made of unfired clay blocks, which are plastered with clay plaster. The roof structure is made of prefabricated pre-stressed concrete panels, which are sloped outwards. The building is heated by a ground to water heat pump, which will heat the water for underfloor heating, the HVAC unit and hot water distribution. Intelligent LED lighting is installed throughout the building. There are photovoltaic panels on the roof to generate electricity. Rainwater is used for flushing and watering the garden. Furthermore, in my master’s thesis I addressed the possibilities of using rainwater in roof drains to generate electricity. There, I calculate different possibilities and ways to use rainwater as efficiently as possible to generate electricity. A Pelton turbine is used to generate power, which is driven by the force of the water current.

Houses A have two floors without the basement with garage in front of house. Every house has individual main entrance. The building is made of brick from ceramic blocks from the Heluz system with thermal insulation of the facade. Houses have a single-layer flat roof. Part B has two floors with basement where is situated garage. Entrance to this garage is from public garage. The building is made of brick from ceramic blocks from the Heluz system with thermal insulation of the facade. Underground walls are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete. Houses have a single-layer flat roof. Public underground garage is separated from the another buildings. Main entrance to the garage is from the ramp. The building is made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete with external wall insulation system. The building has a vegetative roof which forms part of the courtyard.
